In this role you will work to maintain the beauty of the gardens, ensuring high standards of visual presentation are always maintained.

This role is Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm & located at a private residence in Bellevue Hill.

Tools are provided and kept onsite. MUST be an Australian citizen or hold PR.

Duties include:

• Maintaining all gardens and grounds by carrying out general gardening and groundskeeping activities. Specifically; weeding, mulching, planting, and turf maintenance
• Ensuring garden maintenance requests are completed within agreed time frames
• Applying fertilisers, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides within WH&S regulatory requirements
• Curating gardens as directed
• Trimming trees, cutting grass, watering plants and other gardening duties as defined
• Removing cuttings and raking leaves
• Maintaining irrigation, small tools and garden equipment
• Ordering stock
• Maintaining small machinery
• Ad hoc duties as requested

The successful candidate will possess the following skills & experience:

• Have completed or be nearing completion of a TAFE Parks and Gardens Certificate III OR have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Be a self-starter who can work independently
• Have strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work efficiently with other staff as part of a small team
• Physical fitness and preparedness for outdoor work
• Take pride in your work and be motivated by pursuing exceptional results, working resourcefully and taking initiative
